Venue Selection & Requirements

While we do ask that the client sources the venue, we’re more than happy to provide recommendations if needed. When selecting a venue, please ensure it meets the following criteria:

  • Centrally located for your target audience
  • A self-contained function room with minimal external noise
  • Sufficient seating capacity for the expected turnout

Golf clubs, bowls clubs, sports clubs, and RSLs are great places to start. Many of these venues offer complimentary hire and benefit from bar sales. Community halls and clubhouses also work well, allowing extra fundraising via food and beverage sales.

Standard Run Sheet

The shows typically run as follows:

  • Set Up: 6:00pm
  • Doors: 7:00pm
  • Emcee: 7:30pm
  • 1st Act: 7:50pm
  • 2nd Act: 8:05pm
  • Break (raffles/auctions): 8:20pm
  • Emcee: 8:40pm
  • Headliner: 8:50pm
  • Finish: 9:30pm

Note: These times are flexible and can be adjusted to suit your needs. The break duration depends on audience size and the number of raffle/auction items.
