Outlined below are venue requirements and a standard run sheet for our events.
Venue Selection and Requirements
While we do ask that the client sources the venue, we’d be more than happy to provide recommendations if needed. When selecting a venue, please ensure it meets the following criteria:
– Centrally located for your target market.
– A self-contained function room with minimal external noise.
– Sufficient seating capacity for our event.
Golf clubs, bowls clubs, sports clubs, and RSLs are great places to start. Many of these venues offer complimentary hire and benefit from bar sales. Alternatively, if the Cause has access to a community hall or clubhouse, this is a viable option, allowing for additional fundraising opportunities through food and beverage sales.
Standard Runsheet
The shows run roughly as follows:
Set Up: 6pm
Doors: 7pm
Emcee: 7:30pm
1st Act: 7:50pm
2nd Act 8:05pm
BREAK: 8:20pm (raffles/auctions)
Emcee: 8:40pm
Headliner: 8:50pm
FINISH: 9:30pm
Please note: these times are flexible and vary between events. The break can be longer or shorter depending on the size of the audience and the number of raffles/auctions, etc, to get through.
