“I was exceptionally happy with the services provided by ‘Comedy for a Cause’ both during and in the lead up to the Comedy Night Fundraiser we held for our small school (‘Woodbury’) in 2017.
Matt and the entire ‘Comedy for a Cause’ team were extremely professional, friendly, well organised and readily available to answer any and all questions I had in the lead up to the event. Not only were they a pleasure to deal with but ‘Comedy for a Cause’ organised practically everything required for the event, including the promotional material, the PA system and stage, the brilliant MC and of course most importantly, the very funny and talented comedians that took to the stage that night. All that was left for us to do was to sort out a venue and get bums on seats!
The night itself was a great success. Everyone who attended the event had an absolutely fantastic time! There was barely a dry eye in the house as the quality line up of comedians provided plenty of laughs.
‘Woodbury’ is a small school that caters to children who suffer from moderate to severe Autism, so being able to give the staff members and friends and family of all the wonderful children who attend the school a stress free night full of laughter, while at the same time raising money for the school, was truly special.
‘Comedy for a Cause’ is a great way to go if you want to organise a Fundraiser that is not only a little bit different to the more traditional ‘raffles’ and ‘Trivia Nights’ but one that requires minimal effort to put together. Our experience using ‘Comedy for a Cause’ was extremely positive and I would not hesitate to recommend them to any other school/charity/organisation that is looking to raise some money for their cause and have a great time while doing it!!
