Comedy For A Cause was founded in January 2013 by Mat, who drew inspiration from his experience as a volunteer events manager at the 40K Foundation from 2009-2010. During his time at 40K, Mat organized a comedy night that proved to be a huge success, sparking the idea that comedy could be a powerful tool for fundraising.
This epiphany led Mat to establish Comedy For A Cause, with the goal of helping Not-For-Profit organizations fundraise in an efficient and entertaining way. As pioneers of comedy fundraising in Australia, we’ve spent over a decade perfecting our craft and building a reputation as the largest and most trusted comedy fundraising company in the business.
