Comedy For A Cause facilitate comedy shows for charities across Australia which feature some of the best comedians from both the Sydney and Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

We arrange a partnership with a local club, who will help promote the event. (Or we can come to you). We provide all of the lighting, sound and staging needs. And most importantly, we offer you professional event management and marketing advice that will not only help your organisation make huge profits through ticket sales, but also gain sponsorship and raise additional funds on the night through things like raffles and auctions.

Our shows generally feature: a top notch emcee, 2 support acts and an internationally touring headliner. Run time is approximately 2 hours, with a 15-20 minute intermission, during which raffle/auction items can be sold.

Tickets are usually sold for $30-$35 for adults or $20 for students of which we charge a small portion. 

The shows can be All Ages and 100% appropriate for students/children, without substituting the exceptionally high standard of the show.

These events are always an enormous success and appeal to a much broader audience than your typical dry and weary fundraisers like trivia nights.

 

This method of fundraising is not only highly effective for charities themselves, but since it is so simple to use, it is a great initiative to pass over to individual fundraisers and corporate partners.
